Welcome to Recently OUT!
A site for folks(and their friends and families) who are older than the youngsters, how about over 35, who are just realizing that the reason they have always felt odd in their skins is because they are LGBTQI
(Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual,Transexual/Transgendered, Queer, Intersexed)
and just were never able to face up to it
or hadn't realized it
or were generally perlexed about how they did or did not fit into the world and this was the deal...
Or have just been damned scared to go there.
I was like that. I was damned scared to go there. And after thirty five years, here I am. Right on time.
Welcome to Recently OUT, I hope it helps you to think about and discover yourself.
As the site progresses Recently OUT hopes to bring scholarly articles as well as essays, poetry and art to the table for our enlightenment. There will be a reading list, and some links that we have found helpful.

What do you want from this site? Please email at generakhan@yahoo.com with your suggestions. You may also send us poetry, essays etc which we will decide whether to put onsite or not, we will respond to every submission. At this point(December 7th, 2008) we can say that...when this site becomes WILDLY popular and we ar FLOODED with submissions...then...well...but that has not happened so send em in!
